We accept most insurance providers
In person in clinic
Via secure video link
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact your insurance provider for a pre-authorisation code in the first place. Depending on your insurance, you may not always need a GP referral for this. You can ask for your pre-authorisation number to be issued specifically for treatment provided by Myriad. Once you have obtained your pre-authorisation code, please contact us together with the following information:
Once we have these details, we are usually able to offer you an appointment within a few days to a week, but please keep in mind that we will need a linked pre-authorisation number before we can make any booking.
If you do not live locally, please check with your insurance provider whether they cover remote appointments via telephone or securely encrypted video sessions. Most insurers are happy to pre-authorise these, meaning that we are usually able to take on clients from all over the UK.
Where your policy is provided by an insurance company abroad, such as Henner, for example, you will need to pay your therapist for your sessions and then claim the fee back from your health care insurance provider.
Please note that as of September, 2023, we no longer accept AXA.
Therapy usually begins with an initial assessment, followed by a series of treatment sessions tailored to the complexity of your needs.
Initial assessment: £80
Treatment sessions: £60 per hour

"You gave me EMDR therapy 3 years ago, and I just wanted to tell you what a remarkable change it has made to my life. It took about 6-12 months for me to realize. Now I can concentrate much better, have new friends, better relationships with my kids, new hobbies, and I can even exercise properly with my husband without losing interest. The constant hyper-vigilance is gone."
"I wanted to send you an email thanking you for the therapy. I’d like to say a big thank you as it really helped me manage my anxiety. I’m now able to go through my normal days without missing certain activities or daily tasks due to worry. I’m in sixth form studying psychology, and I haven’t missed a single day because of anxiety, which is such a relief. Thank you so much for what you did for me."
"Thank you for all your help—you've truly made a difference in my life."
"I just wanted to say thank you for everything you helped me with. After a few complications, I’m now here in Australia! I made it! There have been a few times where I almost slipped back, but I coped by using the methods you taught me. I’m still working on my confidence, but I’m sure that will come with time. I thought you’d like to know how I’m doing—mostly good!"
"I'm looking at it in another way thanks to the EMDR. I really didn't think it would work, but now I think it must have!"
